Posidonia Exhibition Greek

We're thrilled to share a snapshot from the recent Posidonia expo held in Crete, Greece! Our CEO, Dominik Dress, had the pleasure of visiting our valued partner, Niltana, at their booth. Foot bearing exchange

Last week in Wales, we performed a foot bearing exchange on a MacGregor GLB36 bulk crane. The old housing was refurbished on-site. The job was well-prepared, and engineers were equipped with all necessary tools and a thermal lance, in case
it was not possible to remove the pin. Finally, the foot bearing was replaced, and the crane is back in operation.

Overload test

Last weekend in Porto, Portugal, we combined an overload test of 2x 88t and 1x 50t with a general inspection of a crane. The overload test and the condition of the crane were reported by our electro/hydraulic engineer in a structured report. All documents were handed over to the client.

Crane new building

Yesterday, we delivered the second of three offshore cranes for the new multipurpose vessels of the WSA. The crane is equipped with two hoisting mechanisms (36t + 25t) for tandem offshore lifts. Additionally, it is certified for ATEX Zone 1 for operation in hazardous environments. …

Wire sheave replacement

Our cient called us to fix a problem with the hook block of a 60t crane. Since the vessel schedule was not fixed, we first arranged all spares and prepared a toolbox, to have a short reaction time, when a time window for this Job would be given. When Information poped up that port for repair will be Houston, we send the spares and and arranged the flight for our engineer accordingly. …

Wire rope service

An urgent wire rope exchange was performed last week in France on a Liebherr CBB45 Heavylift crane.

We send our reeving machine by car and trailer to France. The machine is a light version, which can be transported by car/trailer. So we could react within two days and performed the hoisting wire replacement on short notice. …
